Your new role

Working for a company that specialises in the design, fabrication and installation of balustrades, handrails and bollards. They have a diverse clientele including; architects for mining fabrication, developers, builders and engineering companies. Projects include, but are not limited to; hospitals, leisure centres, schools and council developments. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of projects from start to finish. Your exceptional leadership skills and attention to detail will ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards, delivering exceptional results for our esteemed clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets

• Supervise and guide a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring their work meets our exacting standards

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify any issues or potential obstacles, and proactively find solutions

• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure seamless project execution

• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site

What you need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor. Preferably coming from a carpentry background

• Trade qualified; Cert 3 in Carpentry or Shopfitting / Joinery

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve outstanding results

• Must be willing to go to Picton once per week to discuss progress on current projects

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry

• Must be a strong communicator; will be liaising with multiple clients at once
